It's about life after death
First she was a kid living with her family. She married Frank. They lived, loved, had kids, kids grew up. Sherle and Frank lived, loved and enjoyed retirement. Frank died. What's a woman to do? To quote the 'new' Sherle, 'I don't need no darned man!' This blog begins on Saturday, August 27, 2005... two days before Frank's unexpected death.

I had a lengthy explanation the first 3 or 4 tries... something like: Here are 4 of the 6 teenagers... Sharba and the triplets (twins plus OttO - all about the same size at that time). Look at that hairdo on 'the mom' would ya! I don't remember ever being that thin.. was always too fat... and the ears? Omigosh they don't look that big today... thank God! This was the only photo I could find of the houseboat - can ya believe? This was during the husband's 'get slides instead of prints photo=taking phase I guess. Thanks to the 1986 flood slides were pretty much emulsified with river water.
I love your hairdo Mom - that must be when you used to get it "done" every Saturday?
it's funny how we remember always thinking we were too fat, but then we look back and realize we weren't.
